Grid Sync energy management dashboard showing solar production tracking and consumption optimization interface

Grid Sync: Your Home Power Plant Finally Has a Dashboard

At Azimuth PRO, we love automation. But you know what isn't automated? Being a prosumer in 2025.

You have PV panels on the roof, a heat pump, and an EV in the driveway. You are basically a micro-utility company. Yet, when it comes to reporting energy balance to the grid operator, you feel like an accountant from the 90s. Excel sheets, manual data entry, guessing the weather.

It's absurd. If you have a smart home, why is your energy management so dumb?

That's why we built Grid Sync. It's not just another app to see "how much I produced today." It is an operating system for your energy balance.

The Problem: "Excel Energy Management"

Most prosumers are flying blind:

Production Guesswork: "It's sunny tomorrow, I'll run the laundry." Great strategy, if you have time to watch the weather channel 24/7.

The Reporting Nightmare: Grid operators want hourly forecasts (MWE). Manually filling out 168 data points (7 days x 24h) every week? Good luck.

Zero Context: You see production, you see consumption, but you rarely see the balance in real-time.

The Fix: Grid Sync šŸ”‹

We built a desktop-first web app that does the heavy lifting for you.

How it works:

  1. Define Your Profile: You get a 168-hour grid (one week). Set your typical consumption. Copy-paste days, apply weekend templates—do it once, save it forever.

  2. We Track the Sun: We integrate granular insolation data for your specific city. We calculate exactly what your setup will produce tomorrow at 2 PM.

  3. AI Assistant: We plugged in Google Gemini 3.0 Flash. Ask it: "How can I optimize my usage this weekend?" and get actionable advice.

  4. Auto-Reports: We generate the CSV files your grid operator demands. One click export.

The Stack (For the geeks)

We didn't cut corners. This thing is built to fly.

  • Frontend: Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, Tailwind 4. Desktop-first, because nobody analyzes energy balance charts on a phone in the subway.
  • Backend: Supabase (Postgres + Auth). Row Level Security (RLS) baked in.
  • AI: Vercel AI SDK + Gemini 3.0 Flash.
  • Data: Recharts for viz, SWR for caching.

Why we built it

Because we are prosumers too. We got tired of calculating kWh by hand. Grid Sync is the tool that removes the mental load of running a home power plant.

Got panels? Stop guessing. Start syncing.
